What is TruDenta®?

TruDenta LogoTruDenta® therapy has helped many patients just like you finally find relief from chronic myofascial pain and other problems associated with the mouth, jaw and TMJ. TruDenta® uses a comprehensive assessment process to analyze your symptom history, as well as advanced T-Scan technology to precisely assess your mouth and jaw for dental imbalances, right down to the amount and direction of the force exerted by each individual tooth.

The Assessment Process

The TruDenta® assessment process includes:

  • Bite Force Analysis
  • Range of Motion Analysis
  • Headache History Form
  • Muscle Exam
  • Head Health Questionnaire

The Treatment Process

Depending on your individual diagnosis, TruDenta® treatment may include any of the following:

  • Ultrasound Therapy improves circulation to sore, strained muscles by providing gentle heat and increasing blood flow, while targeted sound waves break up scar tissue and deep adhesions.
  • Trigger Point Therapy breaks up muscle knots and tension, increases blood flow and reduces inflammation.
  • Electrocurrent Therapy uses low level electrical signals to reduce muscle spasms and associated pain, while decreasing lactic acid buildup and encouraging healthy nerve stimulation.
  • Low Level Laser Therapy uses a cold laser to decrease pain and inflammation and accelerate healing of muscle and joint tissue and helping rebuild natural nerve function.
